My God...another year has gone by again! Celebrated my 71st year on Planet Earth on May 9th. I'm feeling terrific! I walk 2-5 miles, 3 times a week in my neighborhood, and have started back doing upper body exercises (push ups, sit ups, etc.), and generally watching what I eat.
Paula and I went out with friends the other night to celebrate my birthday at The Raven in Prescott. Great band...Eric Miller Band...and we "danced the night away!" We haven't lost our "stuff"...people seem to enjoy watching youngsters like us dancing!
As I've said so many times before..."The Secret of Life Is Enjoying The Passage Of Time"....and I believe we are doing that. After all, what are our options? We are making every effort to live each day to its fullest. Laughing as much as possible; crying a bit when its necessary. Still paying attention to life...and trying to gain some bit of wisdom on the way!
Let me share a favorite line or two from a wonderful book...The Velveteen Rabbit.

That's why it doesn't often happen to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept.
